I use it to build up thickness on the thigh brace pads on my sea kayak for custpm fit. Being closed cell, it does not soak up water, a plus for keeping weight down for the boat, and the center of gravity low. Theoretically it adds flotation to the boat, but the amount I used is not significant.

I guess who ever makes this has a different measuring system then me half inch short! You know in America they leave it longer so that the customer can get the correct squared measurement for the project he or she need!!!

I used this adhesive thick matt for the inside of my trunk after replacing my fuel tank as a sound barrier. Worked very well.
