What makes these particularly useful is they are rare being they are between two standards weights, such as 17.5lbs and 22.5lbs. These are hard to find, as it is hard to jump 5lbs on some exercises. The best quality, please do not pay attention to any smell, they are perfect !!!! :)

I love these weights because they are right in between 2 and 3 pound weights. I teach older adults and we need to progress slowly when going up in weights and these are perfect!

Functionally, these dumbells are exactly as expected and the quality is fine. However…they stink to high heaven of whatever chemical is used in the rubberized coating. I washed them with Dawn dishwashing detergent twice to get the grease off the grips and the smell out of the rubber part, but the stink is still there. If the black ends rub against your clothes or body, the smell will linger until after you wash. I was told this smell will disappear over time…but it’s been a month and it’s still there! Oh, and I even tried airing them out outside!

Purchased in 2020, I’ve been able to use only these weights to bulk up. Now in 2024, I’ve had a complete glow up being more muscular than ever just from using these weights-weight 25lbs-ribbed metal grip-function (curls, shoulder press, chest press, triceps)-easy to use-rubber weight design

For one thing, the company sent me 3 sets and charged even more on my credit card for the additional 2 sets.and such a hard time returning them I had to stop payment and freeze my credit card. SO PLEASE BEWARE IF YOU ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE. The dumbbells themselves are great, The grips feel good in my hand's while working out. and is less stressful on my wrist. the only downside is the smell that comes with them the rubber has an order and to this day they still stink after 2 months. the whole room smells of rubber.

There were perfectly priced, finally. I have a pair of 35 pounders that I've had for years but, at age 60, I really need 20-25lbs. They came on the date I was told and together. They are brand new looking and sturdy. They are helping stay fit during the tail end of the pandemic. I don't like gyms because they are always crowded and most of my age group don't use all the equipment in them. All we need are a set of weights like these at a good price like these were.
