The cover and binding are fairly sturdy (as of this review, no loose bindings or pages) paper thickness is thin, so don't use anything thicker than a colored pencil or crayons, as marker will bleed through. The marker bleed is definitely noticeable. Paper quality though is very smooth for pencil drawings, as is the hard cover.

My daughter is 8, and she loves to make her own books and stories and give them out as gifts. They are a good size for writing and illustrating with plenty of pages for extra creativity.

These are great quality. They have a hard cover that they can colour on and they have a good amount of pages inside. My son loves them for creating his own little books!
