Although instructions are not included with product, the Amazon add shows a simple guide for assembly. It took less than 1 minute to assemble each one. It is not difficult as others have said, as long as you look at the assembly instructions in the ad!

Not only is this product NOT pre-assembled as it says in the title, but there are zero directions that come in the box with them. There are a few pictures in the amazon listing but they are not clear. We had to find a youtube video of another brand and figure it out from there. These do not spin well. Extremely poor product.

A week ago I installed five of these in our planter to keep squirrels out of the yard as they dig throwing bark and soil into our pool. Now my wife is upset as we haven't seen a squirrel or bird in the back yard ever since. These inexpensive whirly gigs work! Critters are terrified of them!

These did the trick so that was a plus. Purchased 2 packages. On the downside, you have to assemble which was a bit of a nuisance because they were a bit “fiddle yâ€.

The plastic screws that are intended to fasten the blades to the body are so cheap and badly constructed, they wouldn't actually function. I had to super glue them to get them to stay together

Very poor quality product; major assembly issues. Threaded parts which are meant to hold the pinwheels together do not fit each other and/or threads are missing, which makes assembly impossible. Had to use superglue, which was difficult given the small size of the pieces. So far have put together six, and five of those needed glue. Can't speak to longevity but not feeling hopeful. Don't waste your money.
