I get them for my bearded dragons, dimmable heat lamps! I use these in my 40 gallons. They last so much longer than the ones made for reptiles! They are around the same price too!

Four halogen bulbs came in the box. They serve the purpose I purchased them for. They have good brightness. I feel it was of decent value and so far function well for the price. Hopefully it will last a while.

Just what I wanted, some old school bulbs for an exterior fixture. Quality seems fine, price was reasonable and simpler than tracking down locally.

I got this 4 pack of PAR38 halogen bulbs to replace some indoor bulbs that had gone out. Of the 5 in sight in the general area, 2 have been replaced with these. The incumbents were LEDs, but I decided to give these a try. I noticed that these use more energy of course, but they are also more focused. I like that for where they have been placed. That makes these great for directional lighting.The main downside may be that they are not labeled for use in damp locations. The other lamps I had were marked for that. Overall, they are still a good set so far. If you know what to expect from halogen lamps you won't be disappointed. They run much hotter and use more energy than their LED counterparts, but this particular set puts out light in a more focused cone of natural looking light. I'd give this product a 5 star rating if they were marked for use in damp locations, as many people look to use this type of bulb outdoors. They are heavy with lots of metal, but it may not be a great idea to use these in damp locations (outdoors). I can still recommend this product, especially for use indoors or low humidity environments.
