I have gone back and forth for months with the sup[port team who had me updat 4ethe software and firmware and teach the delivery people how to use the lock to no avail. There is not a package that arrives that will open the darned lock! Then they said to return the lock. Only now it has been so long that returning it is not an option. Great. A very expensive paperweight!

If it weren’t for the box, or the concept of the padlock I would probably give less stars. The customer service seems to not read emails completely for trying to get the lock to work properly. I’m not comfortable with giving a system access to my email so it can auto add my packages, trying to come up with a fix with the customer service has honestly not been a good experience for me and I would not buy the lock based on that. The box however is very light so coming up with a way to mount it (or I’m putting a cinderblock inside) over all it is what you would expect there are some changes I would suggest and I will be adding on my own like some weather sealer and a dehumidifier.If things change I am more then willing to adjust my star rating and also once I get it working better I will try to update this as well.

No one that delivers to me had ever heard of this lock or was ok’d to use it. That include Amazon, UPS, and FedEx. All said they have their own systems. False claims. Box is great!

Delivery companies won’t use it. I’ve registered with all delivery companies, put up a sign to direct deliveries to the box, put instructions on the box. They won’t use it. Several have told me the scanner on the lock won’t work. Others don’t even try. I have tested the scanner myself and seems to work but the drivers are on a timeline. If it doesn’t work the first time they just leave packages on top of the box and move on. Total waste of money.

While the container is solidly constructed the BoxLock was a waste of money. Carriers are not using the lock and instead leaving the packages next to the container. Getting assistance from the BoxLock team has been beyond frustrating. E-mail communication only in which I’m referred to a “helpful link†that either doesn’t exist anymore or does not fix the problem. Don’t waste your money.

The Parcelwirx box was surprisingly light until I realized how flimsy it was. The hasp lock can be easily pried off with a large flat head screwdriver or small pry bar, and the molded resin can be punctured and ripped by a motivated thief. I returned the box and purchased a metal box that cost more but is a better value.
