good quality! bit small for my conure, but that might just be cuz she’s a bit nervous so it’s not so easy to get on jee

I have tried several of these types of leashes for my conure. In general, she HATES them, so they are fairly short lived. This came in a simple plastic ziplock bag. There was no chemical or other smell when opened. The fabric is sturdy but still flexible. It works like all other leashes I have tried: loop over the head, bands around the wings, then snug up to the body and you're done. Course . . . I should have tightened it up a bit before trying it . . . she is clever enough to grab with both feet and her beak to make a real wrestling match over getting it on her.

Awesome design that isn't easily torn. My bird hated it, but couldn't destroy it. :)

The dimensions won't help most people viewing this product. If, like me, you're confused what size you will need for your parrot, I purchased a S size hoping it would fit my Caique. It did not. However, with a little finagling (pulled the head part wider by ripping at the glue a bit) I was able to get it to work. A Small size would be ideal for a Conure, Cockatiel, and possibly Indian Ringneck since they have smaller heads and necks.

This would never fit a medium size bird

We have chickens. Most are wild, but my wife has three "Silky" chickens which are caged. She was convinced they needed to be walked like a dog. Not sure what's funnier, the chicken itself or my wife walking it. The leash is made well and does the task.
