So far so good... This was a replacement for my 1988 Chevy K5 Blazer and it fit perfect and worked as it should. Just a little advice, it was a major PIA getting to the motor. I actually cut the door open and carefully belt the metal out of the way. After it was installed I bent it all back added some small plates and screwed the cuts back together. One other this to look into is replacing the wiring harness with a upgraded one with relays to bring proper voltage to the motor. This will fix that slow window up and down specially on the passenger side window.

Great replacement works better than the original motor and a great price. This is a rebuilt OEM replacement. Tried aftermarket motor it was weak rolling up. This one is as fast going up as it is down. Car is a 97 grand am gt 2 door. They come with bolts but it works best with a 1/4" enabled rivet gun. That is how they were factory installed. So you will have to drill or grind out the old rivets to replace it.

I love how easy it was to install, and that it functions like the factory motor that was 33 years old, I hope this one lasts as long. I'm already considering a replacement of my drivers door widow motor, even though it still works.

Works perfectly. My car is a 1989 Buick Riviera and the description did not allow me to check that year or even Buick for fitment. But I rolled the dice and it worked out. So if you have a GM car of the same era it should work. Hope it lasts half as long as the original. *UPDATE* after very minimal use it has broke already☹️ I don’t use my trunk all that often but when I do I always close the trunk lid softly until the automatic pull down engages and it still broke. I shouldn’t be surprised but I am. Oh well.

Not quite plug and play but the perfect replacement. Original equipment assembled with 1/4 inch pop rivits. I decided to purchase the heavy duty pop rivit tool needed to reassemble. Turned out great.

Price seemed right for like new product. When I received the LIKE NEW from Amazon. It means previously purchased and not used but returned.Opened it up. It WASN'T the gm genuine part as described.I'm guessing the person before me swapped it out with the aftermarket ones since those are cheaper and look very identical . It had the stamps of the aftermarket parts and none of the original gm. Returned.OverallBuy like new and expect OR if in any doubt.Buy new with warranty from Amazon :)

These motors are difficult to change (a cavalier problem) and don’t last very long (delco’s problem).

The back plate has holes for 3 screws to install the motor on the door, the holes were not threaded so impossible to screw anything in them, plus the back plate is supposed to screw to the motor assembly with 3 # 6 screws that immediately broke when I tried to tighten them, I ended up taking the back plate from the old unit ,enlarge the holes in the new motor assembly and install using rivets, and they call it genuine Gm Parts !Should have returned it, I wonder how long its going to last
