I bought these as these incandescent lamps may soon be impossible to find. In the US stores these were not available. These salt lamps require the heat from lamp to operate. An LED lamp will look the same but not add the air cleansing affect.

These are good. In fact they are fine for their purpose. They fit the conventional lamp bases that are used in salt lamps. They seem to not only fit properly, but they also seem to work properly.Other than that there is precious little to recommend these bulbs over others that are similar. I have tried several brands and all seem to work fine until they die. If you use your salt lamps and they stay on continuously, all bulbs will die sooner rather than later. This necessitates having spare bulbs around. One important thing to note... Some salt lamp bulbs are a little too long to fit into the cavity of the smaller lamps. These bulbs seem to fit properly into every lamp I have tried. That is a good thing.Four stars for a serviceable bulb, Decent value.
