I use this product in between speaker adapters and metal to deaden noise and vibration that could affect sound quality of the speakers. Very easy to apply and sticks very well! ðŸ‘ðŸ¼

I applied this gasket tape to the two front door's speakers and door panels of my 2004 RX330 and the results were awesome! After repairing the 15 year old OEM speaker surround foams, applying Road Kill foams, I wasn't sure if this simple gasket product would improved the sound experience any more.WOW, the sound experience has been restored, enhanced, dollars have been saved, and I didn't throw away these great 15 year old, OEM JBL speakers used by Toyota and replaced with something from a different era, all the rattling sound is gone and I have my luxury SUV drive experience once again.I have been watching CarAudioFabrication with great tips on how to reduce unwanted rattles and I ended-up using the whole 50 ft roll of gasket tape, plus some electrical tape for just the two front doors, but that small investment, made a HUGE difference on my sanity attacked by rattles and buzzing that just happens over 15 years of driving. The sound coming from the stock 15 year stereo sounds punchy and full, while the quietness of the ride experience is better than my 2019 Fusion. So much so, I just order another roll to do the back two doors and hopefully I can do the rear hatch too!!!!I was just going to buy a new $65k RX350 because I had so much road noise, rattles, tinniness and weak sound system, but now I can wait until my two kids finish college. Thanks for this product - calling it a speaker gasket is just not enough to show its much greater value!

Pros:Good adhesivePro grade foamEasy to apply around curvesCompresses wellCons:Keeping it neatly coiled/rolledLack of dispenser, I’d pay extra so it would stayed rolled upDid I mention how hard it is to keep coiled?Bought his after searching high and low for something comparable. Nope, can’t find it. Everything is either too wide or too thick. It was received in an Amazon Prime plastic sleeve, that was a mistake on the shipper. The product was a mess and completely unrolled but not damaged. I recoiled it by laying the center flat on a clean table and just gently turning it so the gasket would rewind itself into a coil, occasionally stopping to get kinks out.

Love the product and the seal it generates when applied right. Not really a fan of the mess it tends to create when the coil falls apart. Outside of that this product does exactly what it is meant to do and feels like it will hold up over time.

Got this as part of prep to replace four door speakers in a 2011 Mazda 3; I had had some issues with vibration in the door panel from the previous (non-OEM) speakers and got this to help with the insulation qualities, especially since I'd be roughly quadrupling the power going to the new speakers by way of an additional amplifier. Added this to the rear of each speaker cone where it goes flush with the door frame, all of it stuck tightly pretty much immediately; thin enough to easily keep shape as I traced the new 5.25" and 6.5" speakers. Smaller speakers may require a trim here or there to keep it neat. But I have been driving with this foam in place for about five months and don't get so much as a whisper of (unwanted) vibration, which is amazing! Highly recommend for in-door speakers, can't speak to subs as I didn't apply it but I'd guess you'd want something a tad thicker for the super low-freqs.

This foam tape is nice and reasonably compressible. It doesn't add a whole lot of thickness to mounting surface which some other general purpose foam tape does.Only downside is the price. This roll from parts express is $12.50, but then you have to pay shipping.

Love this speaker gasket it is one of the easiest and best gaskets I used. It should come with a better way to store this stuff. Kinda makes a mess when try to store it. But it’s worth the money. Works for the surround on the wood/ carpet of sub box. It sticks very well to carpet.

I would recommend it for anyone replacing car speakers. It will completely eliminate rattle and provide a great seal. I put some on the bracket to contact with the door frame and then I put some more on the speaker itself to contact with the bracket. I have used it for two separate cars and I still have a lot left.
