This replacement lint filter fits LG Dryer 7.3 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Steam with Sensor Dry perfectly. This is the discontinued DLEX3250R model. The original filter in my dryer became defective and would catch clothes and spin them into a ball or wring them together like a huge rope, making the clothes hard to dry and sometimes damaging them. Even though part of the lint filter housing broke off, this replacement filter fits snugly. You can see from the pictures how the original, damaged filter and the replacement look in my dryer. The price point is about three times less than what LG is charging for their OEM. The only thing about the replacement filter is that the net is not as taut and rigid like the original. Perhaps with time the heat will tighten it.

Perfect fit. This is the second replacement filter. The previous one didn't fit evenly, the corners stuck up.

I have an DLE3400W. It says it compatible. The first filter that I had that came with the new machine lasted a couple of years and then started catching. This one lasted less than 2 weeks of use. It actually got pulled completely out of the filter area by the clothes, broke the dryer and it ripped.It didnt sit flush in the dyer. The two sides poked up from the beginning.

Thankfully, I found this replacement filter on Amazon, and it is a lifesaver.It matched the original part perfectly and fit just right. The only issue I encountered was that it didn’t sit completely flush in the dryer. There’s a slight gap where it sticks out a bit, which is noticeable but not enough to interfere with anything. I would have given it five stars if it weren’t for that minor detail.Overall, it’s been working great since we installed it, and I have no other complaints. The product fitted as it should but after the first use it became flimsy. It still works but gets looser as time goes on. My old one that came with the dryer never changed but I managed to break the plastic, entirely my fault. I think it is just a matter of time before this one comes apart.

I ordered this filter because the old one was chipped and didn't go all the way in. I thought the reason was that the corner piece was missing. When I tried to insert the new one I ordered through here and it also didn't go all the way and was still sticking out. That's when I realized that there was excess lint in the opening. I vacuumed and cleaned out the opening removing all the old deposited lint inside and suddenly the lint catcher fit perfectly. After all I didn't really need the new lint filter but I changed the chipped one anyways. I recommend this product.
