I use these little saucers as wet cat food dishes for my three cats. My cats each eat about three ounces per meal, twice a day, and these hold that amount well. Also, if I put the food out and they don't all eat at once, I put another inverted saucer on top as a lid, to keep it fresh until it's wanted. I love these saucers for this purpose, and I like that they are not overpriced like most dishes that are marketed as pet food dishes.I think these would also be great for soy-sauce, olive oil, or condiments.

These are the perfect cat dishes. Glass is the cleanest and healthiest material for your pets to eat from. I assume they would be great for other small animals, and of course as Turkish tea cup saucers :-)

The saucers are made by the same company that made the tea cups I got earlier. The set is now complete. I am glad I found these on Amazon.The product came well-packaged and undamaged.

Totally admit that these aren't sold as "cat dishes" - but that's what we use them for.I ordered one set and all seemed to be working well, so I did a "buy again". The second set is slightly larger (by 1/4") than the first set. I don't care for cat dishes, but for someone wanting uniform service pieces, this is a problem.Additionally, these chip VERY easily. Soaking them in the sink or jostling them against pretty much anything and a chunk falls off. We've already had to toss half of them. I wouldn't buy them unless you're prepared to gently hand wash them every time or have "acceptable loss".

They are great for gifting because they arrive unbroken and are very sturdy. They really put a lot of thought into how to ship these without breakage. Bravo for that! Mine came well-packaged and more so; since I had ordered other items they were in another box as well. They are smaller than I had supposed and hoped. I don't know if I will ever find what I am looking for. I have 1 dish remaining which I have been trying to get more of for years, to no avail. They would make adorable cat food dishes and in fact, have already been used once to feed a cat. I only gave them 3 stars for value because they are very small and cost $2 a piece, and I have purchased other quality glass items made in Turkey which cost much less. I gave 5 stars for gift-giving ability and sturdiness, with an overall rating of 4 stars. If you want a sturdy glass container for use as a Turkish saucer (which is what it is), a cat feeding dish, a bowl for earrings and rings, or for a few berries to munch on, these are perfect. I took a picture holding it to show the size.

We bought these to use as food dishes for our cat and they work great. Dishwasher safe. Of three boxes, one dish had a small chip from shipping. It was small enough and did not leave sharp edges that it still worked for what we use it for.

It’s nice however I was very disappointed in the poor packaging. Once I opened it, it was partly sealed and one was damaged. It had broken glass in the box
