I bought this to go with a summer, navy dress have. The navys don't match, but that's not the fault of this product. They were close enough, and this was perfect for wearing indoors, where it was air conditioned, and for wearing outdoors, to offer a little protection from the sun. The quality is good, and this is so soft. You can pin it if you want to keep it in place, but I wanted to be able to wrap up in it or take it off at will. Worked great, looked pretty, and felt soft.

This is a warm soft fabric but the Rich Royal Blue pictured on Amazon in reality is a dull , flat Grey Blue .I will wear it in the garden to sit on a cool eve but certainly not to go out in or for any special occasion !! IT IS OVERPRICED hugely for what it really is .
