This just doesn’t fit. The original is on the left and the part I ordered is on the right. You can see the backs have tabs in opposite areas of the circle. The new part is a shade bigger too (1/16â€) so it won’t fit.

Some of the small plasic fingers that hold the glass/mirror in place had to be removed in order match the factory part and also allowing us to install the mirror into the mount when compared to the factory mirror. Those little fingers (4 of them total} made it phyisicaly impossible to install the mirror without removing them. We removed them to match the original mirror and it snap on perfectly. The mirror has been on the car for over a month { at freeway speeds and several rough roads in the desert area we live in} and is still tight and soilid as of this e-mail. Good product, you just sometimes have to think outside of the box. Would definitly purchase again. Bernie G.

I’m 42 year old female and was able to change out the mirror with minimal effort. The tools were super useful and even though there were no instructions a quick YouTube how to video search and I was done in under 5 minutes!

I just replaced this glass today (driver's side) and I'm concerned that it's not snapping in good enough to stay put. A hard slam of the door, or flipping the mirror back out into place when it's been folded in, and the mirror has been hit or miss whether it's staying in or not. If it continues to fall out my rating will drop stars and I'll return it and seek other options. The installation was pretty easy after a YT video.
