Easy set up to the kitchen aide. Once I had the pasta dough made and broken down into small balls it was easy to feed through the machine. I found using small amounts of dough easier to manage. Put it through the middle roller on setting #1, then go to 4 and onto 8. It’s really easy to adjust the roller. Then I put it through the spaghetti cutter. Viola homemade noodles. Use some flour to dust the noodles lightly to keep them separate. Works well. Clean it up right after use. The brushes that come with the kit work great.

This far exceeded my expectations! KitchenAid charges $176 for their "KSMPRA" pasta roller/cutter 3-piece set, and so far, this $43 product seems to do the same thing. I just made my first test pasta with it, and the results were good. Not great, but I only used AP flour and just a small batch to test it out. I look forward to using semolina flour and making some high quality pasta. This is a heavy, well-built machine. If you're concerned about the cheap price and wondering if it's poor quality, 1. it seems well-built to me, 2. it's far heavier than you might think! Open up the top and you'll see a LOT of stainless steel metal. It's heavy! and 3. once I lubricated it and ran it for the first batch of pasta, I couldn't hear the pasta machine at all. My KitchenAid mixer was the only source of noise. Take care of your pasta maker and it'll take care of you.An important observation: Read the manual. Yes, it's your typical "Chinglish" manual with many typos, misspelled words, and weird word choices. Even the cover of the manual says "Past Makers." LOL $43 is pretty cheap for a time machine than can make your past! But look beyond all the bad translations and typos, and they point out how to lubricate your pasta machine. I've read some reviews where people found the machine unusable because of high-pitched noises. I recommend oiling it before your first use. If you don't have any food grade mineral oil, buy some. It's not expensive. You can use it to oil cutting boards and other wood kitchen tools, like wooden spoons. But put a drop of oil on the ends of each of the six rollers before you even make your first pasta. I had tried turning the machine by hand when I was initially cleaning it, and it was hard to do. After I oiled it, it turned much more easily. I suspect the people complaining about the noise would find that lubricating the pasta machine would eliminate that problem. So I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I can recommend this product without any hesitation. If you want to make your own pasta, this is a very good choice.

I didn’t think that moving from a manual crank to electric would be so life-changing, but it was. And then I bought another one for me cafe. However: Here are differences between the two. The thickness rollers don’t get the dough as thin as my manual crank. You’ll need to take it all the way to 8, and even that isn’t super see-through thin. The smaller cutting rollers aren’t as thinly sliced as my manual, either.

I bought this for my girlfriend who is Italian and loves to make spaghetti, she always said she wanted to make her own and use her grandmas recipes, Im not exactly sure how she uses this but she put it together herself and made dinner a couple days ago and it was great, you really can tell the difference of home made and store bought. Its a very sturdy piece of equipment and smaller than some others i came across. Good buy.

This product works just fine. It's certainly bulky and heavy, my biggest issue with it is that after the first use, it squeaks to a point where it's unbearable. It's a high pitched tone that pulses softer and louder as the attachment rolls. I would not recommend it and will be purchasing a different one as I just can't stand the noise

We bought this for a fun date night in, and so glad we didn’t spend the extra money on the name brand version!! This was so easy to attach to my kitchen aid machine, and was seamless in creating multiple pasta shapes. It comes with a little recipe book, which includes details on how to adjust the thickness of the machine to create different types of pasta. All around very happy with the product!

Although, I am new to making pasta at home group but was looking for an affordable option and it came on my way. Very handy to use and can make different shapes. Also, easy and healthy way to use different types of flour with vegetables. It perfectly fits with my Kitchen Aid mixer and serves the purpose really well.
