I have been a collector of lanterns for about 30 years. When I came across this cotton wicking in the size that most of my lanterns take I was thrilled with how much I got for $7.99. I have bought pieces in the past For that much money. So I feel these are good quality item at a very good price so I am glad came across this flat, white cotton wicking. This 6 feet should last me a very long time. I am glad I know where to come to get some more at a really good price and I like that they have different sizes because some of my really old lanterns take different sizes so I will be back for more.

My girlfriend had this to say: Full disclosure - I purchased this product for crafting purposes. I am always looking for alternative textile resources, and I liked the simple cotton weave of this wicking as well as the graphic red line down the center. That said, I suspect this product will do exactly what it is designed for - it comes well packaged, nicely pinned and cleanly rolled. Overall, this is a very good product.

The box contained 1 - PATIKIL 1" wide 33 feet 100% cotton flat wick. It is an exact fit for many of my hurricane lamps that have a width of 1 inch and thickness of .10 inches (exact same fit as currently in my lamps). It does state 100% cotton and it burnt like cotton when I burned away some of the frayed strings. I am very satisfied with this product.

Nice quality wick material equivalent to any wick material I’ve ever used. No flaws or defects noted. If the price is right order some you won’t be disappointed.

The wick does not even burn… I soaked it in oil for an hour then go to use it, and it begins to snuff out after only 10 minutes of being lit?!? I amNOT happy at all… :(
