I purchased this product to repair hymnal spines. The green was almost the same hue as our hymnal cover, so no egregious clashes seen in the pews. The tape is easy to cut and sticks every well: repositioning is not impossible, but it's best to learn the art of exact placement sooner than later. I purchased the 4" width so it'd cover the spine, front, and back in one fell swoop. Pictured is my first attempt to tape a hymnal with a spine cover half torn off: the repaired product feels sturdier than the originals do. You can tell I'm a rookie book-repairer because the tape is somewhat crooked, and not the same width on the front as the back; the 'tear' at the bottom of the front occurred because the tape doubled on itself and wouldn't un-stick, so I finally opted to cut it out. I found it interesting that the 3D lettering on the remaining part of the original spine "came through" the tape.

Loved this tape for reinforcing a cookbook that I received from my mother back in the 80’s. Not sure I can say the name of the book, but it’s a very popular Red cookbook😉 that has had several publications over the years.

The product description is misleading, this tape has no backing at all, it's basically a colored roll of duct tape. That being said the hold is strong and does the job. If you want a tape that has backing I recommend the Koltose Bookbinding Tape. Also the green color of this patikil brand is a darker green color than the koltose if that's what you're looking for.

I bought this product thinking it would be cloth binding tape. It is shiny, regular duct tape that could have been purchased at a local store. It's too expensive for what is basically duct tape cut in half.

I needed to repair my very used worn Bible. After doing some glueing to the binding I put the tape on for extra measure. Very easy to adhere
