After using this bridge, I will never go back to using a wooden bridge. A wooden bridge is too cumbersome. This is literally 4x lighter and easier to handle.

Bridge works well, has several different heights for various shots.Came in the wrong box. Thought I was sent the wrong bridge due to the picture on the box not matching the bridge (same handle, three different attachments). Luckily I opened it before returning.

Ordered complete and was happy with it till it fell on floor and broke the plastic bridge head/moosehead, threaded. Can't contact Patikik to get replacement head and amazon won't help...

Do I need this? No. House bridges are always perfectly fine. This really was just an impulse buy on my part. Does it work? Technically, yes. Its it great like the other reviewer say? Absolutely not. It collapses down and the moose head unscrews, so it will fit in most cue cases, which is nice. It uses a standard moosehead bridge, which is also nice. However, the ability to collapse also makes the extended shaft extremely flexible - way more than a standard wooden bridge. It bows a lot. Im also skeptical of its longevity. Its uses thin metal tubing for the shaft. One good whack when extended and its likely to get a dent and thats the end of it. I will always choose a wooden bridge over this. Odds are that I will never use it again, other than the initial trial. However, I suppose its nice to have if I play someplace where a real wooden bridge isnt available.
