I wanted a discrete way to secure my yard sign to my mailbox, since this year's election cycle saw a lot of yard sign theft (I had 1 stolen). I strung the two cables together and used a small padlock. It worked perfectly. I caught someone on my trail cam yanking the sign out of the ground on Halloween night, but they didn't get away with actually stealing it. Highly gratifying.

This is one of those surprise purchases that because of the low price your expectations are low. In this case I found these cable’s very well made and have been holding up well under heavy use.I wouldn’t hesitate to buy these cables again
