I am swimming again after about 30 years. I started off slowly, I have severe arthritis in my knees and sometimes I can't kick as effectively as I need to when in deeper water. I am so glad I came across these webbed neoprene gloves for swimming. They really help me power through the times when I need a bit more help with my forward momentum. I can feel a little more weight on my hands because they hold a bit of water being neoprene, but I quickly became used to it. The only thing I don't like, the Velcro fasteners are very short and are tight on my wrist.

I was worried they would fill with water and make paddling harder with lifting extra water weight.. didn't seem to make a difference. I was skeptical at 1st as they kept you from having you fingers tighter together touching to make a paddle shape, but it helped at the thumbs area. It's good they come with velcro to also hook them together when not in use so you don't loose 1.. It is a bit loose and I wish it was tighter on my hand.. bit I figured that gives extra surface to pull with. Felt loose in the water..but velcro straps make sure it Don't come off. If you use flippers with a boogie board this will help round it out.

Great gloves for the price.Usually take a lg in mitts & gloves but glad ordered a medium. Tried them out today at aqua fittness and got the extra workout in arms & shoulders I was hoping for with the resistance. In fews months may upgrade to higher quality pair.
