I got a hammock/frame combo last Prime Day. However, the hammock didn’t have spreader bars and no one in the fam would use it. I went on the hunt for one for a 9 ft frame and no one would advertise that. I took a chance on this one and super glad I did. (Note my frame has multiple holes that allow you to stretch/take up slack which is why this is doable.)Spreader bars are metal, so no breakage issues. It’s been through several rains and dries super fast. It’s easy to side flip to knock off any leaf or twig debris. My daughter took a pillow and blanket and had a three hour nap on it so it’s fam approved. I definitely would buy it again.

I’ve owned this hammock for a couple of years and I can honestly say it’s the best hammock I’ve ever owned. It’s comfortable, it’s nearly weatherproof, and it’s durable. I leave it out all spring, summer, and fall, and I bring it in for the winter. Every season it’s ready to go, three years running. Highly recommend!

I wrote this review (below) the last time I purchased the same hammock. It lasts about two summers before the strings wear out. However it is not at all comfortable. I put it up a few days ago and could barely get onto it without being dumped on the ground. I buy it because of the longevity, and for my purposes, it's OK. But if you actually want to rest comfortable in a hammock, get a rope hammock. Here is my old review: After many years of high quality rope hammocks, I bought this same hammock about two years ago. I put it out between trees in May and take it down in November. It is frequently abused by multiple children piling on at once and swinging high. After two summer seasons, it began to fray and pull apart at one end. I bought the same one again because our previous high quality rope hammocks wore out even faster and cost more than twice as much. It’s not as comfortable for one or two adults to rest in as a rope hammock, but it looks good and wears well in my setting,

The material of the hammock bed is more durable than knit but less comfortable. If you have a few outdoor pillows it makes up for the comfort. The wood will start looking bad first, but ultimately the hammock will fail when it tears from where the ropes connect. Because the material of this hammock is so "flat", it doesnt conform. When you lay in the middle to balance yourself more strain is put on the strings that center on your weight. Over time the stress on the center strings will cause the adjacent material to rip and fail. Even given this fact, the lifespan of the product and material is advantageous with respect to its price-point.

While it's only been a week or so, there is no doubt that of all the hammocks I have tried, and mostly been disappointed with-this hammock is a total winner!First of all, the engineering is brilliant- including the way they curve the sturdy bamboo on the ends makes it so much more of a good body-fit when lying down in it-- is totally excellent! The fabric is soft and wonderful and the fit across my frame of my hammock was perfect. As a man who has bought a lot of hammocks and been disappointed over and over again, this one truly is special and I highly recommend it.

This hammock is more than what I wanted. The quality is great. I am in love with the color. It is also very comfortable and it can fit two people. I don't leave it outside when is raining so I couldn’t tell you if it is water resistant or not.

I decided to get this hammock because of the great price and durability. It is just too slippery to easily get in, it takes a lot of effort needed to not slip off when getting on. Once situated I felt if I moved around too much I would slip out. No one wants to be unstable in a hammock, this one is super unstable because of the quick dry fabric used. I'm sure if the grandkids were using it they would fall and hurt themselves, I was concerned I would hurt myself too.Too bad, otherwise it seemed like a good hammock at a great price. I returned it.

I had a single wide hammock similar to this models material and construction. I would leave it hanging outdoors most of the Spring, Summer and Fall and it lasted for many, many, many years. That is until the squirrels and birds started clawing and pecking at the ropes for nesting material. The pests managed to fray and break two of the cords. This hammock will hold up to the weather elements BUT watch for those pesky varmints that will start gnawing on the cords. The material is light and airy, cooling. drains and dries quickly and does not stick to any exposed flesh. The cords are durable (except for gnawing varmints), the wooden spreader bars could use a light rubbing with a fine steel wool and re-varnished with a marine type varnish after a few years of continuous outdoor use. The nickel plated hardware should not rust. If anything does slide out of your pockets it will not fall through any open netting and onto the ground as on some other netted hammocks. In this hammock anything that does slide out of your pockets ends up under your backside. This hammock is very, very, very comfortable......SO....a Safety Tip: Don't fall asleep in the hammock roasting under the sun's rays.
