I have a 5 and a 7 years old daughter, with long, thick, wavy/curly dark hair. When they were babies I used to buy the Mustela shampoo, which I loved from day one... I washed their hair with it until they were toddlers, then I tried a few other shampoos because their hair stylist told me they needed a kid shampoo. I am not sure if Mustela is only for babies, but it worked perfectly for (my then) toddlers.. but I decided to try other shampoos. I tried the biosilk shampoo & conditioner and I liked it, their hair was very shiny... but it hardly had a smell after the shower.. which maybe is a good thing for some parents, but I did not like that for some reason my daughters little curls were going away, this shampoo made their hair look nice, but straight! ?? I don't know why... so I started looking for something else. I tried circle of friends (banana).. which was nice for a while, their curls were back... but after a few months or a year, I started to notice their hair wasn't as shiny as it used to.... so, I started to look for the perfect shampoo again. I have seen this shampoo before, but I never tried it because it didn't have a conditioner, which was a must for my daughter's long hair... but after reading this is a conditioning shampoo I thought I would give it a try. So I bought the shampoo and the Taming Spray. The results were fantastic, the first time I applied it on my daughters hair, it felt so soft, I untangled their hair in the shower with a comb while they still had shampoo on ther hair, and I didn't miss the conditioner at all, it felt like I already applied conditioner on them... The smell is great, it reminds me of the Mustela, and the Taming Spray I use it in the mornings before I comb their hair, and is just wonderful. After two weeks of using this shampoo.. I am totally in love with it, will not change again... their hair is so shiny again, I am a very please and happy mom!!!!!

I love the PM Super Strong line. BUT I always return back to this baby don’t cry shampoo because I truly just love it. I love the fresh smell and the way it lathers. My hair feels clean and soft after using it. I wish they had a matching conditioner (not the spray leave in, I own that too haha) but just a regular kid friendly conditioner. I’m 34 but I have baby fine hair and the ‘baby don’t cry’ line works well on my fine lifeless hair. I have bottles of the kid’s shampoo and the super strong shampoo and rotate them every other day. The ‘baby don’t cry’ is also much more cost effective than other lines of PM.PRO: super cost effective for Paul Mitchell product, smell (clean and fresh like baby soap), suitable for multiple hair types, and tear free for clumsy adults like me hahahCONS: no matching conditioner or cream rinse, can be very hard/impossible to find in storesI will buy again!

I have extremely sensitive skin that tends to react very poorly to most hair products. My scalp would be tender, hot to the touch, occasionally bumpy, and I would experience a lot of hair fall after shampooing. Oftentimes my eyes would burn and swell after shampooing as well. At wit's end ... I remembered that baby products are generally formulated for extremely sensitive and delicate skin. I was so thrilled to find that Paul Mitchell produced a baby shampoo that was cruelty free and salon quality! My fine, long hair is silky, shiny, soft, and so bouncy. My scalp feels normal and not at all irritated. The scent is incredibly mild and babyish but doesn't linger. My eyes don't burn either. I'm so thankful for this product -- it's perfect for hypersensitive adult skin! Please -- never, ever discontinue this!

First, the pros: it has a nice scent that is reminiscent of Baby Shampoo from earlier years with a tad of baby powder. It is VERY faint and I am sensitive to smells; it did not bother me at all.It also made my hair soft.My main problem - which I am sure has something to do with no parabens, sulfates, etc - is that there is minimal lather.I like lather; for long hair, it is hard to swish it around every strand without it.I had to add a bit of my old shampoo to get some bubbles going so would buy again; I'd just prefer not to have to do that.

My kids are old enough to move away from baby shampoo. Sadly, their hair has shown some damage from the ordinary baby shampoos I was purchasing. This is a good “happy medium!†The kids love the smell, it rinses easily, and is tear free.

This is a tried and true staple of Paul Mitchell’s line, along with Tea Tree Shampoo. It’s been around forever. Used it on my daughter, ( who’s now 26, and a new Mom). Ordered this for my granddaughter. Suggest using w a short scrubbing brush to promote hair follicle to be clear for hair growth on baby.

Most babies and toddlers suffer from cradle cap, it your child has dry scalp this is an excellent shampoo to use to eradicate this problem. It is so gentle you can use it everyday, just use the size of a dime. We now give this to our children whose babies had this problem.
