I bought these because i needed better air stones for hydroponics. These putt out a LOT of tiny bubbles. Would highly recommend for anyone needing high oxygen levels in there water! I putt air hose on each one and blew through them. Just enough restriction to disperse the air and not going to wear your pump out or overwork it. Makes the water look like a simmer/ light rolling boil in my beckets! Works well with the smaller air pumps for fish tanks as well. I have 3 of the 20-60 gallon air pumps with two of these air stones on each pump 1 stone per bucket. Works great. If you’re wondering I use the fish tank pumps instead of the hydro pumps because of the noise level difference. It’s dramatic.

I bought these for my aeroponics grow project and the amount of bubbles it produces is significantly better than other air stone types. Also, its weight helps to keep it at the bottom of the container.

My Oranda loves playing in the bubbles. The flow is great and the air stone is not too big. The bubbles are loud at first but you get used to it. I’ve only had it for a couple weeks so I’m not sure of the durability but will update if anything happens.

I’m bummed I didn’t take a video at my mom’s! The description on the three different brands I’ve purchased for her aquarium have said there’s create the most bubbles-not even close to this! Her fish actually play in the bubbles just like some of the videos show, they did not with the others. There’s just more bubbles and they aren’t just going straight up (hard to describe)…more spread out is the best way to explain it. Will be sticking to these going forward!
