I got this for my mystery snails whenever they hatched. However I woke up this morning to over 60 guppy fry and I was SHOCKED. I was able to scoop out about 30 and take them to my local fish store. I have another 30 or so I have in this breeder box for some friends to come get so I don’t have to chase them around again when my friends come over. It is perfect and I’m about to place another order for more breeder boxes. It’s very sturdy and neither the baby mystery snails nor the guppies can escape but water flows through it perfectly. I even tried to move it over after I pushed the suctions onto the glass and it won’t budge so I left it where it is now. That’s how good it is!

I have a small 2 gallon tank. The frame of the lid has an area for filter medium so there's limited space at the top of tank. I needed a small floating separator when the fish aren't getting along. One fish seems to be a bit of a bully and needed to be separated. She was in a tank by herself for a bit but wanted to see if I could reintroduce her without fighting. It fits perfectly and floats without having to be attached with suction cups. Since my tank as well as my fish are small, this isolation box works great for my needs.

This box does exactly what they say and is close to being excellent. However, the top piece, the cover does not snap into place. There is absolutely nothing that prevents it from floating off the top and all of the babies being eaten. That ruins all of the positive traits of this breeder box.

This worked great for guppy birthing. All fry were saved because they could escape their mother eating them.We bought an expensive birthing box with place for air and flow through sides. It would be great forIsolating but the guppy ate her babies!

Baby mollies. Only thing I would suggest is and additional piece to grab hold of added to the lid like the one on the piece separating the mommas from babies.

Lid not a good fit and wouldn’t stay on. The baby guppies could get out from the bottom so it defeats the purpose of the tank. Don’t bother with this one

Great for keeping the mommas less stressed to have their babies. Guppy fry can escape tho. The side vents need to be smaller in my opinion
