There are a lot of supplements King, my hound mix, won't even touch. Thankfully, he loves this bone broth so much that I can crumble those supplements and mix it with broth and hot water. After doing that, he'll gobble up almost every medication or supplement I give him. He doesn't even know how healthy this bone broth is -- but I do (and I'll never tell him).

I decided to try this bone broth topper because Bentley, my jack Russell sometimes gets picky with his food due to some acid reflux in the morning. But when I add some bone broth that has been warmed 10 seconds in the microwave and pour it over, the warmness and smells are often enough to do the trick to entice him. Unfortunately, most bone broths for dogs are liquid and packaged so that when you open them, they become perishable and you have to refrigerate use the entire package of broth and use it up before it goes bad. As Bentley's issue is just occasional, he doesn't need it that often, and I'm just giving it to him to use it up instead of just using it.That's what's great about this product! Being powdered, you just mix a teaspoon with a couple teaspoons of water and the rest can go back to the cupboard shelf for next time it is needed. Once mixed and warmed for 10 seconds, it smells great like any other dog bone broth, and Bentley was enticed to eat his breakfast with no issues. I love it that he only gets it when he needs it and it remains shelf stable saving me money in the long run. While this was a free product for me to try as a part of Amazon's Vine program, I WILL be purchasing a refill of this when the jar starts to become empty!

Been adding this broth powder to my goldendoodle Leos meals for about 3 weeks now and its definitely made dinner time more exciting for him. The powder dissolves really easily in warm water - no clumping or weird chunks to deal with. Really convenient that you can adjust how much liquid you want to add depending on your dogs preference. Leo gets super excited when he sees me preparing it, and licks his bowl completely clean every time. The powder has a natural smell that isnt too strong or artificial. Found it works great mixed with both dry and wet food, adding some variety to his regular meals. The container seals tight to keep it fresh and comes with a scoop that makes measuring simple. One thing to note is that you should mix it well before adding to the food bowl to avoid any dry spots. Really appreciate how it doesnt make a mess or stain when it splashes (which happens often with an eager eater like Leo). The container size is generous and looks like itll last quite a while even with daily use. Only wish the scoop had measurement marks on it for more precise portions. I need to begin this review by saying that our dog is a very, very finicky eater, so our experience might be very different from most. When I saw this product, I thought perhaps it might help her food to be more appealing to her. Upon opening the container, I found the powder to have an appealing smell and it was easy to mix with warm water to form the broth. I poured it over her food, but, unfortunately, she didn’t care for it. Next feeding, I tried sprinkling the dry powder onto her food, but she wouldn’t eat it that way, either. A “normal†dog would probably love it, but our girl didn’t care for it.
