I like that these came with both old and new style brushes. The old brushes may not come out easily and you may have to remove housing to get them loose. If so, be sure to place the circular metal ring back at the top of the rotor on reassembly. There are YouTube videos on this.

Kit includes two sets of brushes for older PC4 models and one set for newer PC4 models. Unless you have both pumps something is wasted. My older pump is working well now and I have a spare set. Don't know why they do this, companies change model or serial numbers when they make a product changes so you order the part you need not extras, maybe these cost them so little to make and inventory they don't mind the waste.

Wayne Water Systems #56397 PC4 Brush Kit Cap, comes with 4 sets of brushes so I am figuring that Wayme made two sets for this pump and motor set. My Wayne pump used the smaller set but I can cut down the bigger ones to make them fit. I could also remove a part to make them fit but I think I will stick with the smaller ones. The brushes were brand new and the springs in seat was perfect. The caps were better then what came with the pump. I had everything running inside of ten minutes. This kit saved me over $100.00 I have seen other people in other places post they got old brushes that the springs came off. These are brand new and pre seated. A good buy.

my utility pump stopped cold. i read the manual and installed the new brushes and the pump was back to normal.

Received the correct brushes but also received other brushes for a different pump. Waste of money. Brushes are easy to install. Noticed the wear out faster than expected.
