I had an OEM snare on my Pearl masters snare that I have had for many years. The snare finally started to wear out and needed replacement. I ended up getting the D variant based on the suggested uses. I was happy to see that it comes with both plastic straps and threads so you can mount either way. I ended up using the threads since that was how my old snare was mounted. After getting it on I did some adjustments and am pretty happy with the sound. Seems nice and responsive. I have it reasonably tight but you can definitely loosen it a bit to let the snare open up a bit more.

These Pearl snare wires are the best I have fitted so far. Beautifully even tension and precise contact with snare head. High quality phosphor bronze end plates with two different mounting choices for cords in addition slots for strips. I personally prefer tighter tension but these snare wires produce a very articulate sound whether loose, tight or in between. I have fitted several similar products from top brands but these wires surprised me with their superior specs. Highly recommended whatever snare drum you use. Well done Pearl.

Confermo la recensione di Renato, cordiera ottima io ho anche il modello D della stessa marca., avendo anche un rullante in metallo ho voluto provare il modello C. Vero che ho dovuto anche io limare in certi punti le saldature dei fili che presentavano delle punte che potevano nel tempo rovinare la pelle. Altra cosa che voglio segnalare è il prezzo, 35€ senza costi spedizione in realtà se andiamo a vedere su Internet i prezzi variano da 23 a 27€ con la spedizione arriviamo a 35€. Comunque ok per il prodotto.
