INSTALLATION
1. Turn off Ignition.
2. Keep your key fob (if applicable) at least 35 ft. (10m) away from your Subaru BRZ. This prevents your car from using power to transmit signals to your proximity key fob sensor.
3. Leave your driver’s door open for 15 minutes to allow your ECU to shut down completely.
4. Locate and disconnect your accelerator pedal assembly plug.
5. Plug in your Pedal Commander in line with your accelerator pedal assembly plug until you hear a “click.”
6. Make sure the cables are tucked in place so they do not interfere with your driving experience.
7. Place and mount the Pedal Commander to your desired location using the velcro and mounting bracket that's included in the box.
IMPORTANT
To avoid receiving check engine lights or other issues, it is important that you follow these instructions properly. Also, please ensure that you hear a “click” sound while connecting the plugs, as this signifies a secure connection.

This is a really awesome product if you care about having that great drive feel. I didn’t think it would work before I ordered it so I just gave it a shot and said why not. As soon as using it I noticed a huge difference in throttle response, and not only that, but how the power band feels when you’re on the throttle on launch. I would definitely recommend for any frs/brz/86 owners. Worth it 1000%!

I was skeptical at first but with all the raving reviews I thought I'd give it a shot. Wow it really does wake up your throttle response. The sport + is a little too touchy imo but the city and sport modes are where its at. If you own a frs/brz/86 do yourself a favor and get one. Short of a good set of tires best upgrade of done to my car. And I've added a lot of stuff like high quality coilovers and exhaust/header/tune before this. This was seriously an amazing upgrade.

Pros:The peddle feels way more responsive on sport, and the lag goes away which is nice if you’re in the city.Car sounds louder since rpms are higher than usual.Car ride feels smoother with sport mode on especially on long ride trips.Def would recommend but only our sport modeCons:The echo mode doesn’t work only sport and sport +I don’t like the sport + mode it feels too sensitive, when you press the pedal a little bit the rpm’s goes way to high and car feels out of control and uncomfortable to driveI would recommend if you’re trying to save gas because echo mode doesn’t work and I do spend a little more on gas now since the rpm’s are higher.

I'm saving money at the fuel pump, so I know the ECO MODE is really doing that 20% savings. I'm using the PC on a BRZ so it fixes the problems associated with the throttle response.

It does make a very big difference in terms of the throttle response for a 2023 zd8 brz, but the car is still lazy to driver's throttle input, this thing to me feels like a more aggressive throttle mapping, let say a stock car when you press the pedal for 25percent the engine speed from idle to 5k might take1.5secs with this it could be 1.2secs, almost like you're pressing it more but the throttle lag is still there but you don't feel the lag as much because the throttle opens more when you have the same pedal travel at your foot, idk if it'll make sense to you. It's definitely a mod that doesn't cost too much money and makes a positive impact on driverbility of the car.
