This is a perfect product for my serger. It fits under the serger and the trimmings collect in the bag in front.I no longer have a lap full of trimmings when using my serger. I would definitely recommend this product.

the perfect addition to my Serger. I've had it for years but was never happy with the catcher that came with it. First of all you always had to move it out of the way for threading (which I do a lot since it's so easy) but NO MORE!! I can leave this be. It's very sturdy, extremely smooth surface (which I like), more so than I expected and yes, the provided foam backing you stick on it (not on the table as some reviews seemed to suggest!!) does help with vibration and sound which is always a big deal to me. The catcher could easily be replaced around that flange. I added the yellow rubber band to secure it a bit more. The only problem I could foresee is that the fabric used is a bit catchy (it's what you use around foam under fabric) and could get hard to empty but I'm not stressed about that, super easy to remedy with a recycled plastic produce bag I can just toss. Super happy!!update: i’ve actually used it and I love it even more than I thought. The material is not a problem it’s actually a bonus because threads cling to it so they don’t cling to your fingers. The only thing I changed was the length: it hits my legs as I sit at my sewing table so I simply folded it in half with safety pins for now and it is still plenty big! I find myself tossing all snippets and threads in there: truly the best thing since sliced bread for my sewing space

A handy tool for my serger. The cushion on the bottom went on well, I haven’t even thought about vibration noise from my machine since I have only ever used it with this mat. The catch bag works so well I don’t have to think about it and it’s also a great place to discard thread snips as I finish a garment.My one complaint as many others have stated is that the bag is only held on by tension from clear elastic serged around the opening. A slight tug is all it takes to dislodge it. I minimized this by putting a rubber band around the plastic base opening and then slipped the bag over that. Helps. Until my toddler decides to yank on the bag and it all pops off and I have to hunt for the rubber band lol!

This is a pretty good product. it’s made of decently strong slick white plastic with a big stick-on foam pad you put on the underside. The trim tray has its own elastic topped fabric baggie which fits tightly. I just cut up the plastic bag it came in and put in the holder ( like my old billion year old one had) so now I can use either. It does fit the old Babylock serger evolve/ imagine body style (still going strong after 20 years!). As you can see from pics, the edge hangs over the sewing table so I have to empty bag and remove flange every time I’m done serging in order to push serger back on the table, Unlike my old one which was flush with the table top. No big deal, I’ll just empty the bag more often. Overall for the price I am happy with this tray, good value and quality!

It has a non-skid underside, so it holds steady when you are using your machine. The bag is ample space for the capture of your cut-offs and it has a strong elastic band to hold it in place. It is easy to empty and seems to capture the biggest part of what littered my floors around the machine before! I love having this in place. Thanks for the great idea. As a side note, I was able to alter my table a little to allow the bag to go 'thru' a slot in the table (cut it out with a jigsaw and router), and the bag is now hidden away under the table. It still gives me a great surface, easily cleans and good for all who use their machines a great deal!

Fantastic product. I've had an over locker (serger) for years and always regretted the mess it created. Wish I had known years ago that this product existed. Very easy to use, perfect "catcher" of all cuttings and dust. HIghly recommended.
