This is the 3rd Pelican case I've bought and mounted on the luggage rack of a motorcycle. They are far cheaper (20-25%) the cost of an OEM tail box, and work great. I've carried a Dell laptop and a Canon Digital Rebel for over 100,000 miles in one on the back of my bike over all kinds of roads and never had a problem with either device from vibration or dust.

I love this case. It’s perfect for my handguns. You can get a foam insert from here or eBay that’s already precut for pistols. Or just cut one yourself. I got a precut one and slightly modified it.

Bought for a top box for my motorcycle, works perfect for what I wanted. I drilled mounting holes and used bolts and washers with rubber gaskets to keep it waterproof. Case is reasonable in weight and heavy duty, small padlocks work in the re-enforced holes for security, this is a great alternative for anyone wanting to save some money on hard cases for their motorcycle.
