While driving towards the freeway, I inadvertently left my iPhone with THIS protective case on top of my car. As I accelerated, the phone remained securely positioned until I reached speeds exceeding 70 miles per hour. During this period, the phone number fell off my car and the case and rolled several times before coming to rest in the middle of the freeway. Remarkably, the phone remained undamaged throughout the incident. It continued to ping its location until I was able to safely retrieve it.I was astounded by the resilience of this phone case and the phone’s complete absence of any damage. The only component that required replacement was a small screen protector that had covered the camera lens. To this day, I continue to utilize the case for its protective capabilities.

This case is so thin and light that I almost keep thinking it isn’t there. Fits perfectly and the extra magnet material solves a lot of “MagSafe†difficulty with other cases. Very very easy to install. Buttons all work as though there’s no case over them. Perfect quality, basically.The increased rim height around the camera lenses is a very good feature since most cases are inadequate in that area.The only thing to be aware of is that, given the lightness of the case, it can’t possibly have the maximum protective value available, but this trade off is ok for me because I’m not prone to dropping my phone. (I’ve never had a cracked screen protector since they were invented, and I don’t work on a construction site.) It will prevent scratches though and should be good enough to usually prevent damage from the usual hand held heights. That’s the sort of design tradeoff use case it’s for.

This phone case looks good fits over all the buttons, camera holes and cut outs properly and provides great protection. The buttons are not hard to the touch like some of the cheaper cases and the lip is big enough to make sure it doesn’t sit flat on the screen or the camera lenses

Someone else stated in a review that they were surprised how much they liked this case from Pelican. Well so was! I bought it because of the excellent sale price on a usually expensive premium brand. I have been buying clear cases for over 10 years for all my iPhones and have mostly been disappointed. They have become discolored, brittle, scratched, and loose after a very short time.This one I thought was going to have too hard a case to be pleasant. Instead, it makes me feel much more in contact with my beautiful blue iPhone than any other case has. It makes it feel like the premium product that it is. I thought it would be too slick, yet it has a nice secure feel to it even if it is not as tacky as some others. I also thought there would be lots of scratches and fingerprints on the back. However, after a month of use, there are virtually no scratches and no signs of beginning discoloration of the case. Fingerprints, though still quite prevalent, are much less than on other cases that I have had.The lack of a cover on the function button initially annoyed me. I thought it was a cost-cutting measure. Yet now I like that it cannot be accidentally activated. The buttons are a harder, though still clicky, press than on some other phones. This, however, has prevented it from constantly turning on the phone inside of my tight belt carrying case, preserving battery life.The significantly raised camera border annoyed me initially since the camera does not lie flat. Yet it turns out to be very stable and I now appreciate that slightly easier glance at the phone on the table with the mild upward angle towards me.The magnetic case also attaches very securely to my GPS car holder, and I never feel that there is any danger off it dislodging accidentally.The phone itself is not too thick yet has reinforced edges and seems constructed of premium materials. I have confidence in its ability to protect both my camera as well as the screen. I have already "tested" it out several times without any incidents. All in all, I highly recommend the Pelican Ranger Magnetic Case, and it is my favorite case so far.

The case is nice and on top of that very solid and sturdy. The magnetic strength of the magnets is 10/10 and snaps to mag safe accessories nice and hard. The case protects all the sides and provides a nice squared off camera riser to keep your lenses safe.Only reason I’m giving 4/5 is because I didn’t get the right colour I ordered.
