No, I really didn't need this many, but this was the best price. Now I have a couple to keep and a couple to gift. Great for those oversized chubby pencils. Use in my sewing room for sharpening dressmaker marking pencils and in my art studio for graphite pencils, colored pencils and watercolor pencils. Work very well - nice and sharp.

These little metal pencil sharpeners work great for my colored pencils. Yes, it's true that they don't have the convenience of a reservoir to catch the shavings, and yes it's true that you have to hold it pretty tight between your fingers so it doesn't move to ensure a good clean sharpening. But anyone who sharpens a lot of colored pencils knows how hard it is to find a good sharpener that will last for any length of time. Those extra features mean nothing if the sharpener is going to quit on you within a couple weeks. These little metal sharpeners are small but efficient, durable, and they work!

The plastic ones broke easily. These work like a charm. I used to use them as a child and I loved them for my kids now just as much. They sharpen pencils and colors perfectly. Also they are sturdy!

A little pricey for what they are, however they work very well. Very sharp and easily sharpens both sizes of pencils. The sharpener body is metal so I don't think it would break. It can be removed from the little case, which is handy since I like to keep one in the little change pocket of my jeans while working.

They are all solid and sharp.My biggest issue with pencil sharpeners is how they break my pencil crayons.These sharpeners cleanly cut a nice curl.They don't flex and snap the leads off.I'm satisfied with the product and the price. I would buy them again, though I probably won't be needing any more of them for a very long time.
