I needed these brads for an art project for the second grade class that I teach. These are very sturdy, just the right small size. The head is a little bit bigger than a standard hole punch, so the legs fit inside the hole while the head covers the hole! The kids loved that there were different colors that they could choose from. I love that the colors are bright and fun!

I got these to put together some dials on classroom stations. They were so cute and much nicer than the typical brass brads. I think they really finished my projects up well. Plus the weight of the brass material seemed very substantial and not like they would snap off fast.

My daughter had an extensive family tree project (she's 7, so why not?!). I had a vision, as overachieving mamas often do, to laminate "apples" of the tree with family members' photos, and put them on top of another apple with each person's name. Easy peasy, right? I had an epiphany that Brad's would work best to be able to rotate the picture apple to see the info underneath. I looked for brads at both Walmart and Office Depot. I found these here and they worked PERFECTLY. The board for the project was a traditional 3 panel display board, so I was nervous that the brads would be too short. They were great. My only regret with them was that I wasted time going to 2 stores first instead of just ordering online in the first place.
