Wow what a great product! I am a contractor and decided that I need a pair of stilts. I am SO glad I bought them. It took about 30 minutes to get comfortable walking in them, and within a day of using them I feel like I could run a marathon in them.After one full day on these stilts, I had no fatigue. You just need to spend some time adjusting them before you use them and you will be fine.Now I am wanting to get on these stilts for every job possible. How did I live without them? I use them for sheetrock, removing popcorn, painting the upper wall/ceilings without having to use a ladder, and many other small jobs that require a ladder. One of the best tools I ever bought, and the blue color really makes them stand out. Can't beat the price too!

These stilts feel very sturdy and they were easy to assemble. My only issue is with the straps that go around your legs. One of them kept coming loose, which can be dangerous. After almost falling, I put some new holes in an old leather belt and used that instead. I may eventually buy some padded straps, but these work for now.

I dont have any experience with any other brands or styles because these are my first pair, however a coworker has some that are well used at this point and they have very similar construction. in fact the only real difference is the strap material. so far I'm pleased with my purchase and would do it again if I needed another pair. the straps get a little uncomfortable after a bit but I imagine that's fairly normal.

Product is fine but assembly is a NIGHTMARE! The instructions are sub-par at best and not helpful at all. The pictures are horrible and explanations are just as bad.

It took awhile to get used to balancing on them, and my legs get a little sore if I stand in the same place for an extended period of time. If I am constantly moving like when I am filling screw holes or taping I can walk around in them all day. I am also a little over the weight limit of 225 lb and they are really sturdy feeling still. To keep the leg strap from coming loose I turn the strap so that the handle of the buckle is on the wedge shaped brackets for the semi circle brace. I have stumbled a few times but have never fallen down when using the stilts. Watch out for cords and other items on the ground :)

These work great, very easy to adjust, if you have larger calves, I would recommend bending the "C" shaped leg brace to fit above the calf better. I had to really bend mine before they would adjust to be under my feet instead of between my shoulders. I have purchased to help paint my house, but I have found there are tons more uses for these than first considered. Great for tall costumes, really brings life to a tall character.

This arrived in two days, and was well packaged.They take a while to assemble, and after I had completed about 80% of the assembly, I found one of the upper tubes was unusable, making the Stiltz useless. Too bad because they seem very well made, and of high quality.When I contacted the sellers to get a replacement, this was their response:"Thank you for reaching out to us. I would be happy to assist you. However, we do not stock or sell spare parts as these products are shipped to us as a whole unit from our overseas factories. If your product has arrived with missing and/or damaged parts we do ask that you please request a return from your point of sale retailer (Amazon) for an exchange and/or return for a new item while still in your return policy."I will never ship anything back for a return because it is not worth my time.This seller has no customer service. If you can buy this from another seller it might be fine.

I spent like 2 hours putting this together.Having a simple power tool would be super helpful.The instructions did not clarify enough that the orientation of several parts matters a great deal.I out some pieces together only to realize I had to take them apart and put the back together the other way around. Read through instructions carefully and review the pictures closely.After construction I tested them out. One leg felt good and sturdy, the other felt like it was tilting backward.I purchased these to aid in quicker painting but ultimately just decided to use extenders and ladders as they felt more reliable and safer.These might be great with some practice and the right application, but I plan to return them.
