My valve handle stem broke. It would have cost over $150 to have it replaced. I bought this for $54 and used the for spare parts and installed them in the original housing. No need to call a PVC guy, no extra costs for more PCV/glue/labor. Took 5 minutes and now valve is smooth and good as new.

I installed 4 of these to control the water flow in the pool. They are nice and smooth and easy to adjust as needed. It appears that they can be taken apart and rebuilt if needed in the future but I have not verified that or taken one apart to see. My only gripe is that when the handle is parallel with the pipe, that is the off position. Most valves when the handle is parallel with with the pipe that is on. I didn't see any way to change. The valves are nice, that is just a minor gripe.

Easy to turn handle yet has a very tight seal. Quality construction. Much better than the white valves with the blue or red handles at the large hardware stores. I don't like that when the handle is perpendicular, it is open. When the handle is in line with the pipe, that means it is off. Very unintuitive. It is labeled OFF, though. The handle is adjustable to open 90 degrees to the right, or 90 degrees to the left, or 180 degrees both ways with more adjustability in between those parameters. This is a nice feature if you have the valve right against a wall, you can have the handle open to the side away from the wall. The handle cannot be adjusted so that when it is inline with the pipe, it is on. The picture of the product shows the handle in the OFF position.

The valve I was replacing had a crack, I think from either the hailstorm we had, or from the roofer’s who replaced our roof. Anyway had to replumb

First say these at a home show in Florida. I have installed them in my pool set up and they function better than what I was able to purchase locally
