Love this Kreepy Krauly! We have an above ground pool and this thing works great too get all of the heavier objects which sink to the bottom! It comes with every accessory you could possibly need including a vacuum hose. The vacuum hose also comes in segments so you can adjust to the appropriate length which is important because if you get a very large 35 ft hose at the Big Brand hardware stores and you only have an 18 ft above ground pool the hoses way too long and it just gets tangled up! You only need enough hose to reach the opposite edge of your skimmer and that is it!The only downside is we also have aftermarket stairs which has a larger hole towards the back side of the steps which this shark tries to go into but when it turns around to go back out the opposite direction The tail fin gets stuck and the vacuum ends up getting stuck in a place so I need to block off the back section of our stairs to correct this issue.It took some time to get the vacuum dialed in using the additional diaphragm, on setting #2 & this thing scoots through the water quickly. I have an Intex pool sand filter setup and added an aftermarket Hayward skimmer kit so I can use the vacuum hose attachment and this thing works fantastic! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This does everything you need out of a pool vacuum.

Unfortunately I previously owned the Hayward Wanda Whale......which was A PHENOMENAL Vacuum. My pool has always sparkled with only the use of chlorine 3" tabs weekly and vacuuming regularly. Well, my precious Wanda broke after a long good life. I was so pleased. I just recently ordered the SHARK....not sure of manufacturer but think it is something like Penntar ?? Lucky me it has never worked. I would've taken it out with the entire box all the pieces and the instructions. I was able to use it with the reducer or without the producer. Well I thought maybe he needs some more hosing for a 28' above ground round pool.....so after observing vacuum the first time after stretching it out across the pool as per instructions for at least 1/2 hour and still no movement .......then I decided to add a couple of 3' same hosing as it seemed too stretched with what came with it. After watching another half hour still no movement. At this point I'm thoroughly disgusted as my time to return this rant out on August 9 and I am writing this on August 14. I was sick when I first got the vacuum and it sat in my living room where I received it for about two weeks. I really wish that I had ordered the Hayward Wanda Whale. From the moment I placed Wanda well in the pool it took off and always did a super job. I thought I would go with this newer style vacuum but unfortunately I have been thoroughly disgusted and now I have lost the money I spent on that because Amazon says my time for return is up. I happened to be what I would call a valued customer as I check amazon before looking anywhere else first and most of the things I purchase Amazon wins my business. I would hope that someone such as the manager of this posting over these and see my situation and offer to exchange my current shower for a one on the way home for paying either of the Hayward. Obviously my suggestion would be not to purchase this vacum and I've never had to say this about anything I've ordered on Amazon before.

I use this on my 22ft soft sided pool and it works great! We have it with the small pump that came with the pool currently, seems to have enough power to keep it going. I rinse the filter when it starts to slow down but now that we have been using it regularly it hardly needs it. I also bought an inline skimmer which helps immensely and catches all the leaves and bugs! We also have some ripples in our pool floor, Shark seems to get over or around them fine. Next year we will be sure to have a super smooth floor and a sand filter and this guy will be a lifesaver.

I luv this little Kreepy Krauly Lil Shark!It does what it's supposed to do.I have a 15 ft round above ground pool with a bottom drain and big stairs. It vaccums the bottom in about an hour! There are some difficulties though. It does get stuck under my stairs at times, but half the time it comes out by itself..At first it wasn't moving at all.Then I realised I had not closed the bottom drain! SO there wasn't enough suction for it to move. Then I had trouble with water in the hoses. I still struggle with that at times, i use the water return to push water into the hoses and through the Shark. but it's tough to hook the hose to the skimmer without losing water and all... then the pump seems to stall for awhile.. trying to suck water in..I like that the Lil Shark is not heavy. I have enough hoses for the length of my pool, i have two 3 ft sections left. It isn't perfect, it roams around at random so at times, it misses some spots. And it fights against the current near my stairs.. I'm glad it doesn't get stuck around the bottom drain, it just roams around it and cleans it well. I think it is worth the money. cost me 224$ with taxes and free shipping. It looks sturdy and should last for years. I will store it in its box inside during the winter.UPDATE May 2018It stopped going in circle, it only goes straight now and stays in place at the wall. So i use the pole and it's even faster this way. I vaccum it manually with the shark and the suction's great! it spent all winter (Canada) in my outdoor shed and it's still in great shape!

Great value for the money.Doesn't do a great job around the edge (2") of the pool but does the rest really well.

the assembly was easy, the concept is easier but there should be a description on the size of the pump needed for this. I have tried everything to get it to fit for my pool and after multiple adaptors come to find that my pump is not strong enough. this needs to me more specific in the description for buyers

Cleans well, but it is on the smaller side in comparison to Wanda the Whale which we used to have. It also tends to get stuck behind the stairs of the pool. It can't change direction like Wanda the Whale; it only circles. It does clean fine but for the price there are better products on the market. Making do with it.
