The bottle is very hard to squeeze. My hands and arms were hurting! A small section took forever. The grout is very thick and gritty, which is expected. I found the best way to apply is to open the bottle up completely, stick my finger in and pull out the grout. Then I slide it along the groove and clean the excess. This went much faster than trying to squeeze. Because it was so time-consuming, I decided to try a different brand. That brand is way smoother and quicker. It comes out a lot less thick, but is more like paint. I realized that I actually do need more of the gritty grout product, so I just bought another one of these bottles. For grout that looked okay and doesn't need too much refurbishment, I'm going to use the other brand and white grout pens which are basically paint. I've tried the pens already, and that made some of the process go quicker. (And I also bought two different brands of those and find one covers better than the other. Unfortunately I have more of the one that doesn't cover so well.) So, for those looking to do their bathrooms, I would try a combination of different materials.

I purchased this product as a last-ditch hope to breathe some life into the nearly 40-year-old tiles in the tub enclosure without having to spend hundreds of dollars to have a contractor re-grout it. In too many areas, there were noticeable grout deficits. I regrouted sections at a time, and by the time I was done, I'd determined that the easiest way was to apply the grout with my finger rather than trying to squeeze it out of the tube and directly into the grout track between the wall tiles. I also found that when I thought the tube was nearly empty, I cut it open and was amazed at how much grout was left in the tube, which wouldn't squeeze out. The little plastic scraper tool was immensely useful, but again, it was through trial-and-error that I figured out the best, easiest way to use it. Another trick that I taught myself was that a "nylon scratcher" type sponge works far better than a regular sponge. In about a week's time, I'd regrouted the entire tub enclosure. It has now been more than a week since I finished. Thus far, the grout is holding nicely. As it has continued to dry and cure (from the inside out), there are some areas that I need to fill in again, but I'd expected that to happen. I bought a second tube so that I could do small re-applications as needed. As a senior citizen (and a gal), I am quite pleased with the product, and myself for having breathed new life into my tired tub enclosure!UPDATE April 2023:It's been a couple of months now since I completed the initial re-grouting of the tub enclosure. The new grout is holding fast, and cleans easily (I used a nylon "scratch" pad and a "magic clean" sponge, with an all-natural tile cleaner). There had been several large grout deficits when I'd first re-grouted and I presumed that, over time, those areas would to be filled in, once the new grout had cured. I have been filling in, as needed. And here's a suggestion for how to keep the partially used tube of grout ready to use when you need it:When you are finished, remove the tip and clean it out while the grout in the tip is still moist. This takes just a couple of minutes, and is easily accomplished with either an un-bent paperclip or a long nail. The tip cleans out easily enough. Then use a piece of plastic wrap to cover the opening of the tube before you put on the tip. Now, wrap the tube and tip in plastic wrap (and I secure with a rubber band). This prevents air from getting into the tube, which will dry out the grout.I continue to be impressed by this product---and I've recommended it to two "handy-man" friends!

Used this on the tile in the foyer entry of our home, at the front door, so it has all the traffic. The grout, in a few place, with time had become crumbly and breaking, I wanted a quick, easy , cheap fix. This product is perfect, my husband did the repair, he said that it was easy to apply and clean up, read directions well. I came home to a repair that was not even noticable. It's now been several months and holding up great, very pleased.

Great product especially for a small repair. No need to buy a huge bucket that will sit around and becomes stale dated. The grout was easy to use and is holding well.
