I've been using Pentel graphite refills for my mechanical pencils for over half a decade, and I can confirm that they have never jammed or broken inside of a pencil in my experience. These refills are smooth and decently hard, and with their cute, portable container and cost-effective value, they outmatch any other lead refill I've used.

This led is very durable, and extremely cheap for the amount you get.

Overall it works as Lead replacement for my bic mechanical pencils... but every few seconds of writing causes some of the lead to break leading to a big mess and wasted lead...In my opinion, this lead is too soft...

The lead refills always work and always fit the Pentel mechanical pencils. The case does not accidentally open. These are a very reliable product, and the item has been repurchased for years.

I've been using Pentel mechanical pencils for approximately 40 years. Nearly every pencil that I bought stil operates like it is new. Now that I am restocked, i'll good to go for another 10 years. :-)

Unlike most brands of lead, these ones are quite sturdy, I've yet to have a single piece of this lead break on me - unlike most of the lead refills I used to buy at Staples. I bought a 90pc of the 0.7mm over two years ago and I still haven't even used 1/3rd of the lead even though I'm a university student who does an average amount of note taking. If you're also a fellow uni/college student, this lead will most likely last you throughout your entire campus life.
