Excellent mechanical pencil. Metal tip, soft silicone barrel makes the grip extra comfortable, and large eraser that is long (lasts a long time) and easily twists up as needed. Would highly recommend to anyone who uses mechanical pencils daily. Awesome colors too! My new fav.

I compose music and this just feels nice in the hand and writes smoothly. I'm almost giving up Ticonderoga #2 pencils for these....almost.

I used used these (.5 and .7mm) when I still worked. One of my favorite pencils, nice big eraser, and such good colors.

These are sturdy pencils with a great hand-feel. I love them so much i bought a bunch to keep in my desk since those in my house keep steeling them. The erasers work smoothly and feel like artist erasers, meaning they produce one long crumb rather than eraser dust.

The main feature that gives it a "5" is the eraser. I erase a lot. I also tend to press hard when I write, so it takes a lot of erasing to fix mistakes. This long eraser means I can do that. I also tend to press hard when I erase, and the small erasers that come with all other mechanical pencils pop out repeatedly.I tried the inexpensive plastic versions at first, but the tips break easily. This model has a metal tip that doesn't break. It's definitely worth the extra money. I've been using some of these almost constantly for over a year with no issue.The only other slight annoyance is that the eraser twists up and down as I write, so I have to adjust it frequently. I am considering buying the "click" version to address that.

The only reason I bought more of these is because after using the same ones for over 20 years, I lost a couple of them. So I can fairly say that these don’t ever break. They are indestructible and will last forever and are perfect in every way! I do recommend getting the 2B or 4B lead because I think they’re more fun. I don’t care that the softer lead doesn’t last as long, it’s 1.25 at my local art store. Love love love these pencils! The pencils shown in the picture are from different packs on Amazon not just from this pack. :-)
