Not perfect but good enough for the price. If you need to use it more than a few times go ahead and spend more money for a better one.

The syphon worked as it should. The only suggestion I have is to make sure the screen does not sit on the tube to the syphon or it won't work properly. This should be common sense but these days, you have to put it out there. The screen is nice and keeps particulates out. I used this for racking wine and I'm very pleased.

Works and price is good. However, the filter will not fit into a 1 gal carboy.

Make sure the bottles you are filling are on the level lower than the carboy etc, or it doesn't work.Took me a few minutes to figure that out, gravity... duh.But once you get going it's easy peasy!
