The material and design of the pants are very nice and indicative of the Renaissance period. They washed up well and look nice. They ran slightly big for me. I chose the 28" waist and had plenty of room (not too much). I couldn't get the bottom leg lacing tight enough to stay above my fit calves. They eventually slid down and had to keep pulling up. All in all a nice pair of pants that looked great at the party.

These pants are nowhere near as white as they look in the icon. In reality, they are somewhere between cream and beige.

I would recommend the seller highlight, in both the title and the description, that these pants are 100% linen. Because they're linen, they're incredibly comfortable, and breathable. I could tell they were high quality as soon as I touched them. Confirmed it looking at the tag and putting them on.I ordered a very similar pair on eBay, that was actually a few more dollars than these. The ones from eBay are 100% polyester, and okay, but you can tell they're polyester.T hey aren't half as comfortable or breathable as these, especially on a hot day. Also, the eBay ones came straight from China so I had to order two sizes up so they'd fit.These fit great. I'm 6'2", and wear 36x34 pants. In pajama pants or sweats I wear a large. I ordered large and it fits. Accurate US sizing.The lacing looks very cool and makes these perfect for Ren Faires, SCA, Halloween, pirate festivals, etc.. I tend to wear the legs down to my ankles, but they're really laced so you can wear them cinched up over your calves.I don't have bird legs, but these are too loose for me to cinch around my calves. If I want to do that, I will have to take them in a little bit. No big deal, and not worth reducing this review to four stars. Still giving them five stars.I love the look and feel of these 100% linen pants, and would highly recommend.

I got 32†for my 14 year old daughter. She found the fabric uncomfortably scratchy (she isn’t used to linen) but that wasn’t the main problem. While the 32†waist was a good fit, the legs are far too long and the cuffs don’t stay up when laced tightly. Unfortunately, she couldn’t wear these as part of her costume.I’ll also note that the product description says it’s Cotton Blend but the garment label says Linen. It does seem like linen. Construction seems good, with no loose threads or misplaced seams.
