Puller would probably work well for smaller dents. But smaller dents don't really require a puller like this.The biggest issue is that the puller screw(s) are just too small to take more than a couple strikes. By the third strike the screw pulled out... the dent didn't.

Tool will fail after it's first use. The thick washer used as a "slide stop" broke free and it jammed against the handle. It should be welded in place.

This simple tool does the job. I use mine as a general purpose slide hammer (mainly to remove wedges when re-fitting axe or hammer handles) rather than specifically a dent puller, but the principal is the same. Note that there is a fair amount of clearance between the slide and the post, so for really delicate work you may wish to select a more precisely manufactured tool, but for the price this product is a good option.Note that you will need to provide your own screw, or glue pad, to be fitted into this tool.
