These are brass punches, not iron. So, know what you are buying. Only use these on harder metals, so that you do not mark teh metal. Which means the part taking the damage will be the punch. That means they will wear out faster than iron punches. That is the compromise, and it is by design.Overall very good quality. Recommended!

The length of the punches allowed me to get to some hard to reach axle pins on my Troy Built tiller. This let me get my wheels removed. They took a hard pounding without breaking, although their was a little mushrooming on the tip. The price is definitely right.

Worked like a charm to remove rusted on fuel pump lock ring. Surface was cleaned and prepped prior. Did not cause any sparks.

I needed a set of punches that could reach down the side of my AR receiver. All I had to do was add some rubber O rings on the shank to prevent scratching of the receiver.

Used these to replace rear main seal on a Jeep 4.0 with 250k miles. The smallest punch bent pretty quickly but thats why they are brass, to avoid messing up the metal you are working on (the engine block in my case). The seal was dried up and in there pretty tight. I got the job done, and these are exactly as I expected. The knurled handles are nice too!

I purchased these to use often. They are light, and a good length and felt sturdy, but after a few blows tapping out a driveline pin for a utv they would bend. I also wasn't able to get as much force as I would get out of my steel taps. For light duty, and the price they aren't bad, but if you will be really tapping them hard, these aren't the ones

Have had them over 2 years now in an aircraft maintenance environment, have worked flawlessly and have remained intact and used regularly. If you use them for their intended purposes these punches will last you a long time.

Este set de letras para marcar metal y/o piel resulto bastante útil para marcar letras en metal, el acero se ve de buena calidad ( es acero al alto carbono ) ya que al estar marcando el metal no vi algún desgaste o deformación. Recomiendo este Set sin lugar a dudas.
