I only use Perimeter batteries in my 3 dog collars. I have always had good luck and they last a long time as my dogs don't test their boundaries. When I've purchased these in the past, from other vendors, they have always come in a sealed, hard bubble plastic with cardboard backing which is what I would expect. These arrived in a small ziplock plastic bag with the cardboard backing and loose battery. This gives me the impression that the battery could be any brand and they just stuck it in the bag with the Perimeter signage. I guess I'll see how long they last but I don't thing I'll order from this vendor again---it's just seems a little fishy.

They work over all, we have had a couple of them with shorter than average battery life,(our dogs do not test the fence)we pay attention to the blinks on the collars and even at times unscrew them and reinstall to verify the light blinks green. If not for a few shorter life ones I would have given 5 stars. Our dogs are not out in the cold for more than five minutes so I cannot verify if they hold charge in the cold very long.

The price is great, but you also get what you pay for. I’m on my 5th battery of the 6 pack. The first one did great. The 2nd and 4th died within a few days of install. The 3rd was doing well until the plastic piece broke off the top. I’d rather just bite the bullet and pay the higher price for the actual brand batteries than purchase these again.

Previously we were under the invisible fence plan where they supply you a years' worth of batteries at X cost. We let that expire as we have two dogs that would need the collars and the cost to maintain both under the years' worth of batteries didn't seem cost effective. These batteries were installed last week so we have yet to confirm how long they last - assuming they last as long as the ones provided by Invisible Fence, I'd say you are looking at 3-4 months which would make this a cost-effective replacement product.I will say that install was easy, but you want to make sure that you align the little "tick" on the cap of the battery with that on the collar so that the battery seats properly and charges the collar.

They don't fill well and they fall off the collars, I have tried them all because they were so much cheaper but they don't do the work and they don't last long.

So far 2 out of 6 batteries don’t work. Not sure about the remaining 2. Hoping they actually work.Update-only 2 of the 6 batteries actually worked. Don’t waste your money.
