I filled barrel with very hot water and had minor leakage the first few days. After that no leaks after 2 weeks and never had to apply any wax. Currently have had spirits in for 2 weeks and no leakage. Engraving is a very nice touch.

I really liked the looks of the barrel, unfortunately it was purchased as a Christmas gift and I had it personalized and they spelled Scotch wrong!! It was spelled Scoth!! So I will be sending it back. I’ve reordered and hopefully it will arrive by Christmas and all the spelling will be correct
