I bought this for myself to remember my uncle that had passed and when I water the garden every day it still looks the same when I first ordered it. I live in an area that experiences all seasons of weather and it still looks the same after going through snow, hail, rain, and sun.

This thing’s not a real rock and the letters look like they’re painted on instead of carven in the “stone.†Also, not only is it not a rock, it’s just a hollow shell. I feel like I got gypped on this deal.

Just be aware this is not a real stone. It’s not solid. It’s hollow and does have a back to it although you cannot tell from the photos they show. The engraving seems to be painted on rather than engraved and it’s very light. I was rather disappointed in that. But I bought it as a gift for someone so I still gave it to them.

I bought this to place outside in a planting of perennials and an Azalea given in memory of my wife’s brother that passed so unexpectedly in April. It came and she really likes it, nestled in that area outside our kitchen window. I personally like it, but wish the lettering was more bold and stood out more. Time too, will tell if it holds up in spring and summer weather.
