Bought this to replace the distributor in my forklift with a Continental Y112 engine.It would not fit out of the box. I disassembled it and tapered the housing to matchold distributor. Took 1/8†off bottom of coupling and .040 off bottom of shaft andslid right in and worked great. Idles good too.

This Pertronix D41-05A was supposed to fit the Continental F613. First, the collar that fits the distributor shaft had an ID of only .483"; the shaft is .500". I drove out the roll pin, reamed the free end out to .500", reinstalled on the distributor shaft. Now the Pertronix distributor will seat all the way in the head, but is way oversized for the distributor hold-down clamp (that takes a max .912" OD, the Pertronix neck is only turned down to 1.06"). Since at this point I'm starting to wonder if the Pertronix will work at all I will need to make a new distributor clamp, as I don't want to risk buggering up the original.

I just got it on my Continental F163 L- Head forklift motor. It fired right up and seems to work great.

I have a 1960 worthington tractor with a f 162 continental... I had to do a lot of machining and fabrication to adapt this distributor to my engine. The original distributor is mounted on a tower on top of the flat head... The new distributor did fit inside the tower, and that's about it. The length was wrong, the connector on the bottom of the distributor is wrong. I would have stayed with the original distributor but the rotor And cap don't exist....

This would have been a great distributor for my Continental F163 engine but it is not machined to fit the head properly. Taking for ever for a refund and they have marked the distributor as received.
