For my purposes it works as planned. Although I had installed a 4' picket PVC Fence with 1/4' galvanized mesh backing the critters (mainly squirrels and chipmunks ) were able to climb up and over and share in my Tomato crop.By angling a 45 degree 8 " long support (made from fiberglass driveway markers) out beyond the fence and attaching 8" of this screen no critters have been able to get in. These rodents have difficulty in climbing up-side down. Their claws are designed to support movement up and over but not really upside down. Thus far they have not been able to defeat it.

This mesh works for the extra protection I need. I have a puppy who is an escape artist and easily fit through my fence and into my neighbor’s yard. I needed to get something that was easy to install but wouldn’t block her view. I’m a 59-year-old woman and I put it up all by myself in a few hours. I had quite a bit to cover, but it still went fairly fast. The zip ties that come with it make attaching it to the fence very easy and speeds the process. I do recommend wearing garden gloves because the ends are somewhat sharp and you will end up with small cuts.I originally ordered a bundle of six rolls at 10 feet each. I almost made it to the end of my fence but was three feet short. I didn’t hesitate to order more from the same seller. I like it a lot and even got a little extra the second time just in case I need to make repairs down the road sometime. And who knows what I might need it for.
