I don't write reviews often, but this broom solved my problem with our 3 pugs who shed. We have hardwood floors throughout our house and have purchased pet vacuums, and different types of brooms and nothing has come close to the job this broom does. This is a must for anyone with pets and hardwood floors.

I have two Golden Retrievers that shed a lot. I have to sweep every couple days because of it. I bought this based on other reviews and I have to say I have not regretted this purchase. This broom is amazing and so good at getting the dirt, hair, and other debris off the floor. Most often better than my vacuum does. I haven’t used it on carpet yet because most of my house is hardwood, but I bet it would work just as good on carpet and rugs.

We have a Siberian Husky that NEVER stops shedding! It's hard to keep a vacuum from clogging. So I decided to try using a carpet rake first, then vacuuming. I've only used this broom/rake once, but so far I'm pleased with it. It was easy to put together; easy to adjust the length of the pole; and seems to be pretty sturdy and durable. I found that it actually helped to use the squeegee side first, then the broom bristles. The carpet looked so good (5x7 area rug) that I didn't feel the need to vacuum when I was done. It also works well for gathering the fur from under tables and dressers on the hardwood floor, etc. It does take a little bit of effort on the carpet, but it's not a magic wand so I expected that; especially since her fur is like velcro on rugs and fabrics. I'm even thinking about getting a second one to keep in the bathroom where we have a zero-entry shower so I can squeegee the tile, which runs all the way to the ceiling, with ease given the long handle. At this point, the only think I would change is to make the brush head black rather than yellow, as it's already looking dingy after one use from dirt on the floor.

Initially out of the box, the broom was kinda hard & stiff, and wasn't very effective at trapping hair. After being used a little, though, it got softer & better, and now works well overall, with a better build quality than the last brand we used. That being said, the broom's height is taller than our last brand, so it unfortunately doesn't fit under all the same furniture. And when the weather gets humid, the bristles have a tendency to "grab" the floor rather than sliding smoothly.Overall, though, it's very helpful for sweeping up animal hair, and much faster & easier than vacuuming.

I wanted to fluff out the carpet. I wish I would have purchased a metal one. To use this one you need to make sure the handle is more upright. You cannot slant it or it does not work which means you need to hold the handle of the broom stick more upright. It is ok but not very sturdy. I did keep it but probably will give it away and buy a cheap rake to you.

I have a black Chow Chow, and I’ve tried almost everything to keep his shedding hair in check and it’s a struggle. The rakes break, or are too flimsy to grab his fine overcoat fur. This rake is so sturdy, and picks up all of the hair without much “scrubbingâ€. I would highly recommend this rake. The head is a good size too, and covers a large area.

German shepherd, beagle, lab mix. There are tumble weeds of fur in my home if I go more than 2 days without vacuuming. This product is for people who don’t like to vacuum and like manual labor. Flimsy and waste of money. Returned it same day.

I have extremely long hair and have entered the dreaded 'perimenopause' phase that unfortunately includes a lot of hair loss. This Hair Broom not only perks up the carpet to look new again it also pulls up all of the hair our specialty Dyson vacuum misses. So glad I found this...don't know how I still have hair on my head with all of the hair that this broom has pulled up and out of my carpets LOL.
