I was amazed at how well this works, especially on the carpeting in my home. It also works well for cleaning our cars. I already ordered another set. The outside is rubber and it has a stiff square plastic cylinder in the middle (yeah, cylinders are not square, but I think that is the best way to describe it). Like any of these cleaning tools, it works better on certain surfaces and not as well on others. Works best when ‘sweeping’ dog hair and other dirt that is wider than the distance between the nubs. It is a key part of my car cleaning kit.

If you are buying this because you are looking for a Hairypony brand dupe undercoat remover, save yourself the money and don’t buy. While this is useless to use on animals (does not remove loose undercoat hair) it is great for getting pet hair out of carpet, car seats, and patio furniture cushions! I’ll keep them for those reasons because they are amazing for those uses!
